Offer for schools
Dear Teachers,
For teachers and students in schools and universities who wish to learn more about Buddhism, we offer several opportunities:
-
We can provide a general introduction or short presentations on specific topics as part of your regular classes.
-
During philosophy or psychology lessons, we can explore the essence and practicality of Buddhist teachings in a question-and-answer format.
-
We are also happy to welcome school groups to visit our Buddhist centers for guided tours and lectures.
-
We provide teachers with supplementary materials to support their curriculum, and are available to answer questions either at your educational institution or in our centers.
-
We regularly organize exhibitions in county capitals, where school groups are warmly invited. In addition to guided tours, students can gain insight into this vital part of our universal culture—dedicated to understanding the mind—through talks and film screenings.
In our modern world, a frequently asked question is what exactly we are rushing after—or according to which lasting values we are shaping our lives. Religions and philosophies offer a wide range of answers to this.
Throughout history, these different spiritual paths have intersected on many levels. Despite certain similarities, their goals and methods are often different. A critical and careful examination is essential to distinguish and understand them. Only through this clear understanding can we truly enrich our own culture.
Brief overviews in earlier curricula often fail to explain why Buddhism is becoming increasingly popular in the West and why it is frequently referenced by modern sciences. We aim to fill this gap by sharing authentic and practical information on the topic of Buddhism—based on our own experience of its practice.
For forty-five years, Buddha taught people from all walks of life, offering advice on how to use their lives in ways that bring lasting happiness—helping them not only grow older, but also wiser. He considered the capacities of his students, resulting in an exceptionally rich and comprehensive body of teachings.
